Today was my first go at a freestyle event, ski cross. It was held at the chill Factore, Manchester. It was the first time the Chill Factore had held an event like this and it was very successful and fun. It was a long day we had to do 2 runs and our best time counted to go into the draw to see who we had to race against in a head to head
My first run was not so good :-( I had a crash :-( which winded me but after a little rest I was fine and went on to do my second run which was good and put me into 1st place in the kids section (under 14s)
Then we had to race, both together and the first one over the timer was the winner of that heat and went on to the next heat, all in all I had about 3 races against other contestants to get to the final.
In the final I was against Thea Fenwick a nice friend of mine.
