This is my proudest moment, i think so far, going to the Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne 2020 was an honour to be selected. Even though this was my second Olympics following the European Youth Olympics in Bosnia, The experience was truly amazing! The GBR Alpine Team consisted of 2 boys and 2 girls Me, Sophie Foster, Rob Holmes and Jack Cunningham. The Alpine events consist of Super G, Alpine combined (which is Super G and one run of Slalom), Giant Slalom and Slalom. I came a respectable 18th in SG which put me in a good place for the Slalom leg of the AC but unfortunately i didn't finish. On to the GS and i through down a decent first run putting me in 21st but it wasn't to be as i hip slid on my second run. It wasn't to be in the Slalom either, even though i was committing to some good turns a straddle on the first run with the end in sight meant no second run for me, but i was pleased with my skiing. On to the Team event the Duel Slalom, this is one girl and one boy from each qualifying country to go head to head in a race to the finish line. GBs team was myself and Rob Holmes, we did our best against the Austrians but unfortunately we was knocked out coming 14th.
